MISSION STATEMENT

The Quality Deer Management Association (QDMA) is a non-profit wildlife conservation organization dedicated to promoting sustainable, high quality white-tailed deer populations, wildlife habitats, and ethical hunting experiences through education, research, and management in partnership with hunters, landowners, natural resources professionals, and the public.

Youth Hunts
Oct 11-12  is the scheduled date for the first youth upland bird hunt at Farr Farm near Shinglehouse in Potter County.  The first place team (plus an adult mentor for each) from this year’s Bucktail Boot Camp has been invited to attend free of charge.  Another 5 or so youth (plus one adult mentor each), sponsored by local branches, may attend.   Cost approx. $50 each plus transportation

The state chapter would like to encourage more participation by local branches.   This is a great opportunity for involvement by QDMA mentors and mentored youth.  Branch boards please contact Tim Smail or Steve Trupe  (See directors) if any of you have interest in sponsoring youth or otherwise participating.
